The Georgetown Mall is facing a historically uncommon fate for commercial property in Washtenaw County. The county is about to foreclose on the strip mall and former home to a Kroger supermarket on Packard Road for non-payment of taxes. Ann Arbor SPARK Assists Applicants with Recovery Zone Bonds
Ann Arbor SPARK is assisting applicants with funding available through Recovery Zone Economic Development and Facility Bonds. Appropriated through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, Recovery Zone Bonds provide reduced rate financing and stimulate economic growth in Recovery Zones. Ann Arbor DDA moves forward on Near North, Library Lot
A lot of people took the holidays off this year. Not the Ann Arbor Downtown Development Authority, as it spent more than half a million dollars on developments in the college town’s downtown area.
