Zingerman’s Delicatessen and New Eagle Announce Expansions in Ann Arbor Area

Zingerman’s Delicatessen was awarded tax credits and New Eagle LLC announced a Technology Collaboration credit with Powertrain Integration, LLC.  The companies will use the funding to help them expand in the region. Saline-based JAC Products received high-tech, five-year MEGA tax credits today to fund expansion in the Ann Arbor region.  JAC Products, which also has a location in Shelby Township, was approved today for MEGA tax credits totaling $572, 970 from the Michigan Economic Development Corporation and the State of Michigan. Two Ann Arbor Companies Receive MEGA Tax Credits

MI Pre-seed Capital Fund changes announced

The state of Michigan, through the 21st Century Jobs Fund, has re-capitalized the Michigan Pre-seed Capital Fund.  The award of $6.8 million was approved by the SEIC board in March.   There are two significant changes affecting distribution of this new money.  One is the match for an investment is lowered to one-half to one.  In other words to ask for a $200,000 investment from the fund a company only needs $100,000 of matching investment from... [Read More...]
